TOFD (TIME OF FLIGHT DIFFRACTION)
Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) is a highly sensitive and accurate non-destructive testing (NDT) method employed by Amerapex to inspect welds for defects. Utilizing a tandem probe system with a pitch-catch technique, TOFD effectively detects transverse-type defects and provides precise sizing of both the length and height of flaws.
